Thank you so much for enrolling!  Follow these important next steps to get on the road!

Step 1: Check Your Email

You should have received both a receipt and a welcome email from me. The email would have came from [email protected]. 

Make sure to add me to your contacts list so you never miss another one.  If you did not receive it, please email me and let me know right away.

Step 2: Join the Road to Better Recruiting Facebook group.

The Road to Better Recruiting Facebook group was set up to provide you with ongoing support.  This is the place where I will update you on new information and happenings, such as new FAQ videos or information, and will continue to answer any questions you may have long after you've completed the course.  

Join your fellow 'Roadsters' here.  

Step 3: Log in to the For Cops Training Academy Portal 

The For Cops Training Academy is where you will access all of the lessons, bonus lessons, course materials and bonus guides available to you that will help keep you from crashing along the way.   

If you haven’t created an account yet, you can login here to create one.  If you have created an account but don’t remember the password (I know, just what you need…another password lol), no worries, you can simply click on the 'Forgot Password' link to reset it.

Once you’re logged in, make sure to watch my welcome video which will help you find your way around. 

Step 4: Download your RTBR Briefing Document 

The Road to Better Recruiting Briefing Document will explain what this course is all about and how to get the most out of it.  It has an overview of all of the learning stops along the way, a glimpse into the four bonus lessons provided at the end of the course and has a handy checklist that will help keep you on track. 

Step 5: Start the Course

The Road to Better Recruiting can be completed in around 5 hours,  but unlike most police trainings you have attended, is designed to be learned at your own pace…meaning you'll be able to pause and/or rewind the videos as much as you would like and have complete control and freedom to progress as you see fit.  You will have access to the program for two full days, which should be plenty of time to watch, take notes (highly recommended), and re-watch it again if you would like.    

Each stop on the Road comes with a downloadable notebook to help in your notetaking and will give you a quick reference to look back on later.  

OK…the first stop on the Road to Better Recruiting is now ready for you in the For Cops Training Academy!  When you’re done with the Welcome Video simply click on the 'Mark As Complete' button underneath the video to move on to the next stop.
